WHAT IS THE SUMMER SERIES, YOU ASK?
The Summer Series is a running event held over five rounds across five consecutive months, from April to August, on Tuesday evenings. Each 5k race starts at 7:30 pm and takes place on a two-lap, undulating, cross-country style course. Runners of all abilities are welcome to take part.
TOTAL POINTS LEAGUE...
To add some fun and healthy competition, we also run a 'Total Points league' across the five races. Points are awarded to the top 10 finishers in each category (10 points for 1st place, 9 points for 2nd, and so on, down to 1 point for 10th place). Scores are added up throughout the series, and at the end, the top three runners in each category are awarded trophies and prizes.
