Welcome to the Basildon 'Club of the Year' 2009. Nick (vice-chair) and Judy (secretary) represented Phoenix Striders at the sports presentation evening in the Bas Centre, organised by Basildon Sports Council and Active Basildon. It was nice to see so many people receiving awards; some of the youngsters have achieved really impressive standards. The cup we received is nearly big enough to bath in!!!
Hot and humid but still 78 take part in Summer Series 3. Junior Andrew Law and Phoenix Striders own, Penny Arthus take the honours. Full results here.
